Thanks for responding. My friend figured it out and it has been fixed. I don't have the details of the fix sadly otherwise I'd post it here. I appreciate you getting back to me.
There has been another issue that has come up that I didn't have with my install but he did with his: He has no Hibernation option. I didn't have to reactivate hibernation or anything and for him when he goes into the options for what the power button does it is actually only "Shut Down" and "Turn off display" which he prefers to hibernate the computer rather than shut it down all the way as he has things that he keeps up all the time and doesn't want to have to run the risk of it suddenly vanishing if he forgets to save or something when he gets off for the night.
Any ideas as to why Hibernate and other options aren't there for him but are for me?
Edit: I figured it out myself. I activated it via Command Prompt (Admin).
here’s what I did:
Press Windows Key + X, Select Command Prompt (Admin). Type powercfg /hibernate on
No string of text will tell you it is on but when you open the configuration for your power options Hibernate should be there.
